The last couple weeks we've been watching the snow slowly work its way down the mountains. Each morning when we're pulling out of the apartments and we have a clear view of the mountains, Charlotte asks, "Is the snow closer?" She sounds giddy each time she asks but Ash and I study the mountains and hope it moves a little slower! How is it that a little over a month ago we were in 100 degree heat and we are now looking for sales on snow gear?!
Here's a picture from outside Ash's office. This isn't the most spectacular view of the mountains, but this is just to show you the snow we're all watching.

Each Fall we would watch the mountains and check how far it had crept down since yesterday, and then, BOOM, it was on the ground for another winter! Can't do that down here (no mountains!, or snow for that matter) All we can check for is if it is any cooler that it was yesterday,(and usually, it's not!)Wish we were there to watch the kids in the snow, give them a big hug and kiss from Nana and Bumpa.
