A visit from local law enforcement! We spent Christmas afternoon and evening with the Ellers. Dave is a police officer and had to work Christmas day, but he was able to stop by his parents and let Charlotte see a real police officer! Anyone who knows Charlotte knows this visit was probably better than any Christmas gift!
And we had a great time with our friends. We had a yummy dinner (Nana Jane’s squash casserole was a delicious hit!) and spent hours playing Blokus (we’re still appreciating that introduction, John Thomas family!). It was strange not being with our parents, and we missed our families, but God provided a sweet holiday for us.

WPD has nicer vehicles than they did a few years ago!! Tell David hello for us-one dispatcher to an ex-dispatcher, and the rest of the Ellers too. Linda gets much appreciation for helping Charlotte with our gifts- we love them. We want to talk to Charlotte and let her know how much it meant to us! Love, N&B
