Of all the crazy things to do in the middle of winter in Alaska, I think one of the craziest is to go to a water park! But that's one of our adventures from the week. Anchorage, Alaska has an indoor water park and during the week they have a special for preschoolers. Usually the place is pretty expensive, but during the late morning hours, they open up their pirate ship and the shallow end of their wave pool for preschoolers and their parents for just a few bucks. It was a great deal because in addition to hours of splashing, sliding, screaming, and all around mayhem, the kiddos took some great naps that afternoon. A funny thing about the whole morning was that Charlotte was our cautious one; Charlotte doesn't like to be under water, but Liam rode every slide 20 times! He'd go under and come right back up looking for more! Liam couldn't get enough of the water park!

remember when we went there with Avery and Charlotte and i think Carla and her kids came too. What a fun memory that is. How silly to be marching through the snow and ice outside and then it was warm and muggy like a hot summer day inside.
